Anand Kumar

Anand is an experienced associate director in Synovate Business Consulting and has more than 12 years of experience of which 10+ years has been in management consulting in the area of Strategy and Operations. He leads the Singapore practice of Synovate Business Consulting, and his areas of expertise include Regional Growth Strategies for consumer goods companies, Market Entry Strategies, Market Assessments, and Merger & Acquisition Advisory

Anand has extensive experience in the industries of Consumer Goods, Travel & Transportation/ Logistics, and Industrial/Machinery. His clients include Kraft, DANONE, DHL, Hershey's USA, Barneys New York, Unilever, British American Tobacco, Whirlpool, Charoen Pokphand, and other major multinationals. He has also worked on several M&A engagements in developing M&A strategy, merger integration planning, and post-merger integration program management. His clients in the M&A space include Unilever, DHL, Kraft, and Danone.

Anand has spoken at several eminent forums, and has written articles for local newspapers (e.g. "trends in e50" for the Business Times, Singapore), and in World Economic Forum workshops (White Paper on "Transportation & Logistics - Overview & Challenges in Asia" and "Transportation & Logistics - Listening to the Voice of the Customer")

Anand received his MBA in General Management & Finance from Asian Institute of Management, Philippines (including an exchange program with Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth, USA). He has a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India.
