Brewing Singapore's coffee culture

A beverage manufacturer, one of the most valuable brand names in the world, approached Synovate in 2007 to support its late entry into the premium coffee category.

Synovate Business Consulting identified untapped market needs together with Synovate Consumer Research, sized the available market demand, and benchmarked industry costs and best practices, so as to advise the client on its entry barriers, phases, and modes.

As a result of our intervention, the client launched its brand of coffee with the opening of a concept store at the end of our engagement, and successfully tapped into this new, fast-growing segment while diversifying its product portfolio and revenue base.
