Job description
You will be in charge of all aspects of research studies, you will have the responsibility for coordinating projects from setup to report writing, liaising with suppliers including fieldwork and data processing. Designing solutions and analysing results with the support and guidance from the Research Director.
- Attend client briefings and make a contribution regarding study design and approach also take clear and concise notes from a client briefing
- Design research solutions and write proposals and recommendations based on findings including costs with support from the Research Director
- Be able to write a clear description of the methodology and findings (debrief)
- Design a questionnaire
- Be able to conduct thoughtful and insightful analysis
- Develop meaningful hypotheses from data
- Design presentation and ensure the flow and order of the debrief and the design is both useful and appealing
- Be able to present part or all of debrief and communicate the results as agreed with the Research Director
- Act as client contact during project execution
- Understand the relationship between spending and profit margins
Morover, the Senior Research Executive needs to be able to:
- Assist with sales
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat
business
- Build new relationships by supporting sales efforts of the business
development team
- Contribute to other marketing activity and understand business objectives
- Build industry and research expertise
- Become knowledgeable about the market research industry and with
your specific area of expertise
- Keep up-to-date with relevant Synovate solutions and understand market
positioning

Requirements
- Master's degree - Marketing, Economics, Applied Science, or Social Sciences, Psychology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Prior quantitative research experience is essential
- Knowledge and experience of research techniques
- Good understanding of sampling and methodologies
- Able to communicate clearly both in verbal and written work
- Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge in statistics (SPSS or similar software)
- Client-facing experience is vital, including the ability to deal with client requests in a confident and professional manner, and to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers at all ranges of seniority
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of our team
