Synovate Aztec, focusing on fast and accurate data, offers data agency and value-added data processing, software, training and support services across mass merchant and FMCG sales channels.

With a desire to push the traditional boundaries of market research, the successful candidate will deliver insights and analysis to key clients, primarily through the use of consumer panel and transaction data services, and assist them to gain maximum value.

Responsibilities include building strong partnerships with clients and retailers; handling briefs on product launch, promotional activity, market analysis, consumer segments and behaviour; proposal preparation; building customized reports and providing value-added data; analysis and interpretation; presentations; running training sessions to clients; resolving raw data service issues; inter-departmental coordination; and business development.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in a Business, Marketing or IT related discipline
• Minimum three years' work experience in a FMCG environment, with extensive experience in using consumer data, in an agency, retailer or client-side role; and good understanding of the current grocery retail market, either in Hong Kong or abroad
• Good commercial and customer relationship management knowledge, with a track record in business development and account servicing
• Computer literate and competent in MS Office, database tools
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with proficiency in written and spoken English
• A curious nature with strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Good time management and organizational skills

Operations Clerk

Job description

• Review the call status report to ensure record consistency among Fieldwork and Data Processing units
• Perform client list processing and uploading to facilitate data collection
• Perform data analysis as instructed to monitor the quality of data collection
• Support project planning and execution in Fieldwork by using Excel, VBA or relevant software
• Review and test the verbatim management system for data coding and punching
• Prepare, set up and check the data entry specifications in accordance with questionnaire design and data processing requirement
• Provide administrative support to the operations teams as assigned

Requirements

• Form Five or above with one year's clerical experience
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good PC skills, preferably with knowledge of statistical software, e.g. SPSS

• Willing to work overtime when necessary

Responsibilities include statistical analyses and interpretation of research results; client liaison; giving advice on applications of different statistical tools; development of statistical tools & automation; inter-departmental coordination and training of research teams.

Requirements

• University degree preferably major in Statistics or Mathematics
• Minimum five years' relevant experience, ideally with research agency experience and media industry exposure
• Strong skills and knowledge of statistical techniques, applications and software such as SPSS and SAS
