- The role will focus on the insight and delivery of findings for both quantitative and qualitative research programmes, although there will be some day-to-day client management
- There will be extensive client contact, including presentations and workshops and we are looking for a candidate who can excel in meeting clients needs/expectations
- Conducting thoughtful and insightful analysis and developing meaningful hypothesis from data. There is a large appetite from the client to use research throughout the business, and the candidate needs to work closely with the client to develop insight and recommendations, and support the distribution of these across the client's business
- The candidate will also need to work with a variety of staff across Synovate, ensuring the smooth running of the project across team
- The candidate will have line responsibility for one or two other members of staff, and will have to be able delegate workload effectively to junior members of staff ensuring a clear understanding
- As applicable, there will be additional elements and spin-off research and the candidate will need to help design research solutions and write proposals including costings
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of principle ad hoc research techniques, including face-to-face, telephone and online studies
- Experience of customer satisfaction / loyalty research
- Client facing experience is vital, including the ability to deal with client requests in a confident and professional manner
- Proven literacy and numeracy skills
- Research experience required in a market research, agency or related area in a quantitative capacity
- Excellent project management skills
- A high level of attention to detail is vital
- Good levels of skill in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook are required
- Understanding of statistics (working with an in house statistican)
- Able to deal with both quantitative and qualitative data
- Ideally staff management skills, but these can be developed through the position

Then consider this new role within the Financial and Business Services team to support the Royal Mail account. This role will appeal to people who are looking to bridge a research role with project management. The role will be primarily supporting the day-to-day management and development of continuous research for a key account (Royal Mail) within the Financial & Business Services (F&BS) division of Synovate UK (c.80% of time), whilst from time-to-time being involved in other ad hoc research for F&BS clients. - As applicable, there will be additional elements and spin-off research and the candidate will need to help design research solutions and write proposals
Requirements
