New Thailand director for Synovate

BANGKOK — SYNOVATE, a top ten global research company, today announced that Maz Amirahmadi has been appointed to lead its business in Thailand.
Reporting directly to the CEO of Asia Pacific, Mr Amirahmadi will be responsible for managing and developing Synovate's research business across the nation. He is replacing Barry Kelly as head of Thailand.
Tim Balbirnie, CEO of Synovate Asia Pacific, said the company was sad to lose Barry, but delighted to have found such a high-calibre replacement within its existing management team.

Mr Amirahmadi has been with Synovate for five years, most recently as Director of Synovate Hong Kong. There he played an instrumental role in helping develop Synovate's Hong Kong-based, regional and international business activities.
Prior to joining the company in 1998, Mr Amirahmadi held research positions with ICM Research and Gallup in the United Kingdom.
Mr Amirahmadi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Liverpool University in the United Kingdom.
