Synovate boosts regional team

HONG KONG — GLOBAL market research firm Synovate today announced the appointment of Larry Wu to its Asia Pacific business.
Mr Wu joins Synovate as Director and will report to Darryl Andrew, Managing Director of Synovate China. His role will involve regional account management as well as a strategic management role with Synovate's business in China.
Mr Andrew said that Mr Wu's appointment to Synovate was timely.
"Larry joins us at a time when Synovate's growth in both Asia Pacific and China is burgeoning. He brings a wealth of experience and capability to the senior management team of Synovate China," he said.
Mr Wu has been a valued member of Synovate�s China team in the past, making major contributions to client service and analytical support across the Asia Pacific region. Before rejoining Synovate, Mr Wu was running his own consultancy�often working in partnership with Synovate.
"Larry will manage one of our most regional important clients. As well, he will be highly valued for the strategic insights he will be able to provide on general management issues for China," said Mr Andrew.
Synovate China has full-service offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai and Guangzhou and conducts research in more than 292 cities across China.
The company has 13 offices across nine countries in Asia Pacific.
