Synovate announces senior appointments in EMEA region

UNITED KINGDOM — GLOBAL market research firm Synovate has announced the appointment of three senior managers in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Carol Johnson has joined Synovate as Human Resources Director for EMEA. Ms. Johnson has 16 years of HR experience with leading companies and is very familiar with the market research industry. She came to Synovate from Research International, where she was HR Director after playing a similar role at TNS.
Nicos Rossides, CEO of Synovate EMEA, commented in welcoming Ms. Johnson: "Synovate will especially benefit from Carol's strategic and change management skills, which will be invaluable in further strengthening our performance management and training/development programmes."
Stéphane Courqueux will be joining Synovate as Managing Director, France in early October. Mr. Courqueux comes from Millward Brown, where he was Director of Mainland Europe New Business Development and previously Managing Director of their French office. Mr. Courqueux has 15 years of market research experience, including 2 years in London with Infratest Burke.
"Stéphane will be a strong addition to our regional management team. His leadership skills and business development expertise will be crucial in guiding our operations in France toward further growth," said Mr. Rossides.
John Presutti, who has been Acting Managing Director of Synovate France, will join the regional head office team. "Our rapid growth in this region has created challenges with regard to post-acquisition integration. John has considerable experience in this area, particularly after integrating our Paris and Lyon operations. His new role will help us balance our high top-line growth with greater operational efficiencies and closer alignment of systems and processes," said Mr. Rossides.
Synovate EMEA has 37 full-service offices in 30 countries around the region, with 850 employees including 750 research professionals.
