New appointments at Synovate Healthcare

LONDON — SYNOVATE Healthcare, a specialist research division of global research company Synovate, has announced key management appointments effective 1st April 2004. Changes in the management structure draw from the strengths of Isis Research, which was acquired by Synovate in September last year, and Synovate's existing healthcare practice. Isis will rebrand as Synovate Healthcare in October 2004.
Marc Yates has been named Regional Director Synovate Healthcare Asia Pacific. Yates joined Isis Research in 1996, and has been employed in market research for nearly 20 years, gaining wide experience of techniques and methodologies including retail and OTC. After starting with Isis in the London head office, he moved to Shanghai in 1998 to set up a representative office. He then moved to Hong Kong after 18 months to take on a regional role overseeing pan-Asian studies. Three years later he moved to Singapore where he established Isis' South Asia regional office. Yates will continue to be based in Singapore.
Stuart Bartlett has been appointed Director Synovate Healthcare Asia Pacific. A graduate of Isis Research in London, Bartlett spent four years specialising in sales force effectiveness and ad-hoc research. He moved to Hong Kong in 2001 to head up the Isis representative office; two years later he joined Synovate as director of the healthcare division. He is currently based in Singapore.
Robert Skolnick has been named Executive Vice President Synovate Healthcare US Custom. Skolnick will continue in his existing role as Executive Vice President of Synovate Americas, responsible for the company's specialist research units as well as its corporate development programmes. Skolnick is based in Tarrytown, New York.
