Synovate Healthcare appoints new CFO

LONDON — SYNOVATE Healthcare has announced the appointment of Simon Woodlock as Chief Financial Officer. He will take up the position in January 2005.
Woodlock was at NOP World for eight years, serving as CFO of NOP Research Group and, more recently, European Chief Financial Officer. He was a member of the NOP Research Group Board of Directors.
At NOP World he focused on the strategic financial management of divisions within the UK, Germany, Italy and the Philippines, and spearheaded a change management process within the US accounting functions. In addition to implementing management information systems at NOP Research, he was also a leader in corporate development strategy and execution, the most recent project being the Eurisko acquisition.
Prior to joining NOP, Woodlock held financial positions at Direct Line and Landis & Gyr Communications, within the insurance and telecommunications sectors. A Chartered Management Accountant, he holds a BA (Hons) from Kingston University and has lived in the Middle East, Bermuda, the Seychelles and Hong Kong. He will continue to be based in the UK.
