HONG KONG — Leading global research company Synovate today released the first ever publicly available audience reach figures for Hong Kong's free newspapers – Metro Daily, Headline Daily and AM730.
Steve Garton, Synovate's Director of Media Research in Asia Pacific said that the figures show that the free newspapers have significant readership.
"This is the first time the industry has had access to current information on the readership levels of free newspapers in Hong Kong.
"The figures are very healthy and verify that these papers an important part of the media mix for marketers – and an important component of the broader picture of media audiences we intend to track in our Media Atlas study," he said.
The figures are part of Synovate's pilot Media Atlas study in Hong Kong.
