Robert Skolnick Appointed CEO for Synovate in North America

NEW YORK — Synovate, a top ten global market research company, has announced that Robert Skolnick has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for Synovate in North America. Skolnick, who is based in New York, formerly served as Executive Vice President for Synovate in the Americas and for Synovate Healthcare.

As Executive Vice President, Skolnick was instrumental in growing Synovate's specialist divisions and practices in the Americas. This includes Financial Services, Technology & Telecom, Travel & Leisure, Diversity, the eastern division of Consumer & Business Insights, Public Sector, Qualitative, Synovate Motoresearch and Synovate Healthcare.

"His tenure and experience with many facets of the company, along with decades of market research experience, allows him to fully understand the business and help guide our direction going forward."

Skolnick has been with the company for 21 years and has been a market researcher for 26 years. He began his career in political consulting and he was admitted to the bar in 1977. He is a graduate of Queens College and has a JD from Brooklyn Law School.

Skolnick replaces Robert Philpott who had been serving in a dual role as CEO of the region and Global Chief Operating Officer. Philpott will continue to be based in Chicago where he will concentrate on his Global COO responsibilities.
