CHICAGO — International market research company Synovate is lending its blank office walls free to seven up-and-coming local artists.
'Faces Places Spaces' showcases oils, sculpture and photography by Nick Ehrmann, Joseph Gagnepain, Mike Jovanovic, Miriam Kravis, Linda Kollacks, Ivan Lo and Mark Mazzola.
The exhibition runs until June 6, 2007 at the Synovate offices at 222 South Riverside Plaza.
"Offering our premises for free to feature the works of emerging artists is one small way to give back to the arts community of Chicago," says Alicia Kan, Synovate's global head of communications.
"We are continuously on the lookout for artists who need free, alternative space to showcase their works and build their portfolios.
All works of art will be available for purchase by the public.

'Brothers' by Ivan Lo
Photographer Ivan Lo travelled to Kabul, Afghanistan in August as part of a volunteer assignment for a humanitarian organization. Proceeds from Ivan's work will help fund future humanitarian trips to the country. Other shots from Ivan's Afghanistan collection will be on view until June 6, 2007 at Synovate's exhibition, Faces Places Spaces.
