Synovate Business Consulting launches in Russia

MOSCOW — Global market research company Synovate today announced the launch of its Business Consulting office in Russia. This new strategic business unit will assist clients globally to enter, evolve and expand in Russia's rapidly growing economy through fact based market analysis.
Leading the new operation is Julia Seina, who has been appointed Director of Synovate Business Consulting for Russia.
Seina joined Synovate from the COMCON – Research International research agency, where she headed the business development department. Previously she was employed by RUSSO Management Solutions as vice president of strategic management, and Consultant Plus as a senior expert in marketing.
Synovate Business Consulting CEO Peter Snell welcomed Julia's appointment to Russia. He noted: "Our Business Consulting service has a particular strength in emerging markets where reliable data is often hard to find, true addressable market sizes are regularly exaggerated and channels of distribution are opaque. Our Russian Business Consulting office will focus on developing business consulting services, using a unique combination of market research and professional consultancy."
While the business consulting sector is well established in Russia this new offer is unique, adds Panicos Ioannides, Synovate Managing Director for Russia and the Ukraine. "For the first time, this service will be based on market research, and it will allow clients to obtain competitive intelligence and strategic advice in one place. This move also strengthens Synovate's position in the Russian market and reflects our company's expansion strategy."
