Synovate announces new Operations leaders in Latin America

SAO PAULO — Global market research company Synovate has announced that two of its current leaders will be assuming new roles and responsibilities within the company beginning in March.
The managing director of Synovate Brazil, Manuel Lopes, will add the role of Director of Operations for South America to his existing remit. As part of his additional responsibilities, Lopes will support the local business units in further improving operational efficiency, commercial growth and profitability within the region. He has over 30 years of experience in the research industry, which has included leading the Portugal and Brazil offices of other top global research firms. Lopes joined Synovate in 2003 and has significantly increased the size of the company's business in Brazil, making it one of the top research agencies in the region.
The Client Service Director for Synovate in Spain, Jesus Caldeiro, will assume a new role as the Client Services and Practices Director for Synovate Brazil. He will be responsible for managing and growing Synovate's business with key accounts and managing business for Synovate's global practices - Customer Experience, Brand & Communications and MarketQuest - in Brazil. Jesus was the first Managing Director for Synovate Brazil, and was responsible for successfully integrating the business when it became Synovate in 2003. He also previously served as Managing Director for Synovate Portugal. Jesus will be relocating from Spain to Sao Paulo for his new position.
